Tremron Construction in Ontario, CA | Milpitas Construction
Milpitas Construction is an independent hardscape contractor that lays, repairs, and rebuilds Tremron paver driveways, patios, and walkways across Ontario, with Tremron repair in Montclair and surrounding areas. We are not a Tremron dealer and we’re not manufacturer-affiliated. What we are is a crew that has worked Tremron’s Mega Olde Towne, StoneHurst, Weston Stone, and Metro lines on enough Ontario jobsites to know exactly what fails here and why. If you’re pricing out a Tremron paver project or your existing field has started to shift, call (877) 752-4194 for a free estimate.
Why Ontario Residents Choose Us for Tremron Service
Ken Stafford, owner of Milpitas Construction, got his construction technology foundation at Evergreen Valley College before he ever took a paying job, and he runs this crew the way his finish-carpenter dad taught him: don’t do work you’d be embarrassed to stand behind. That matters in Ontario, where the question isn’t whether a paver install will face stress, but which kind it’ll hit first.
Around here we see citrus-era lot grading that sends water toward the house, Santa Ana winds that scour joints every October, and hard irrigation water that leaves mineral deposits on paver faces. We’ve built Tremron installs for those specific conditions, not just copied a spec sheet, and we also offer Upland Tremron service for similar inland conditions. We also stock the manufacturer’s specified joint sand and keep OEM edge restraints ordered for common Tremron lines, so a repair on your driveway doesn’t become a mismatched patch.
You get one accountable team for the whole hardscape, from regrade to base to paver to joint sand. Call (877) 752-4194 and we’ll walk the site with you.

Common Tremron Construction Problems We Solve in Ontario
- Efflorescence bloom on paver faces. Ontario’s water runs hard, and when irrigation overspray dries on Tremron pavers it leaves behind a white, chalky mineral residue. We see it most on north-facing patios and driveway aprons in the 91764 and 91761 neighborhoods where shade keeps the surface damp longer. The fix is usually a mechanical clean and a conversation about where the sprinkler heads are pointed.
- Sand-joint loss after Santa Ana wind events. The winds that funnel through the Cajon Pass every fall pull polymer sand out of the joints faster than most people realize. If the original installer skipped a proper edge restraint, you’ll see the outer rows of a Tremron patio start to drift within a couple of seasons.
- Base failure under older Ontario driveways. Many driveways in postwar tracts were installed over uncompacted native soil or a cracked existing slab. The pavers hold their color and shape, but they start to rut and heave because the sub-base under them was never right. This is a rebuild, not a repair, and we’ll show you why before we quote it.
- Faded or uneven surface color. After enough 100°F Inland Empire summers, integrally colored Tremron pavers can fade or chalk. The uneven look gets worse where a patio cover or roofline shades half the field while the other half bakes, and matching that for a repair means pulling from the right dye lot or replacing the whole visible section.
- Water sheeting toward the house. On older Ontario lots, the original grade was cut for citrus groves, not drainage around a house. A paver patio or driveway that pools after winter rains often needs the grade corrected before any new base goes down. We do that regrade work, then lay Tremron the right way.
Tremron Service in Ontario: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment
Here’s the thing you won’t read in a generic paver guide. Ontario’s postwar tract lots were graded for citrus-era drainage, not for hardscape. The fall line in these yards frequently runs toward the house or a shared property line rather than toward the street, and that’s a problem coastal infill lots rarely have to correct. When we lay a Tremron paver driveway or patio in an older Ontario neighborhood, the first step isn’t base material. It’s checking where water goes when it rains, then re-grading the pad so the slope moves away from the foundation and toward a drainage point. Skip that step and you’ll have a beautiful paver field sitting on a sub-base that’s quietly eroding every winter.
On a teardown-and-rebuild off one of the older tract streets near downtown Ontario, our crew pulled up a heaving 1990s paver driveway where the base had been laid over uncompacted native soil. We re-graded the slope away from the new two-story build, reset the Tremron Mega Olde Towne field with fresh compacted base and proper edge restraint, then swept in the specified polymeric joint sand. The next Santa Ana wind season didn’t scour a single joint.
Tremron Models & Products We Service in Ontario
We work with the Tremron lines that hold up longest in the Inland Empire: Mega Olde Towne pavers for driveways and large patio fields, StoneHurst pavers for a more textured, old-world surface, the Weston Stone retaining wall system for grade changes and planter walls, and Metro/contemporary slab pavers for clean, modern runs. When we repair an existing field, we match OEM pavers, edge restraints, and Tremron’s specified joint sand so the patch blends and the warranty story stays clean. For base and drainage we spec compacted aggregate, not the cheapest fill, because Ontario’s soil and Santa Ana winds don’t forgive shortcuts. We’d rather show you the Tremron sales & service approach we bring to every job than talk around a bad base.

FAQs – Tremron Construction in Ontario
That white film is efflorescence, mineral salts pushed to the paver surface by Ontario’s hard water, and it’s made worse where irrigation overspray dries on the face of the paver. It’s a surface condition, not a paver failure, and it can usually be cleaned off. Call (877) 752-4194 and we’ll tell you whether it’s a cleaning job or something deeper.
They won’t move a properly installed paver field, but they will scour the joint sand out of any install that skipped edge restraint or used a weak polymer mix. We install Tremron pavers with solid edge restraints in Ontario specifically because the Santa Ana season is a yearly event here. If your joints are already blowing out, call (877) 752-4194 for a repair quote.
Yes. We source OEM Tremron pavers and match the dye lot as close as the manufacturer allows, then use Tremron’s specified joint sand so the patch settles and weathers with the rest of the field. Faded sections can’t always match perfectly without replacing the visible area, and we’ll show you the options before cutting in. Call (877) 752-4194 to have us look at the field.
If a few isolated pavers are cracked or heaved, it’s a repair. If the whole driveway shows rutting and wave patterns, the base under the pavers is gone and the honest fix is a rebuild, not a patch. On older Ontario lots, that usually means re-grading first, then fresh compacted base, then the Tremron field. Call (877) 752-4194 and we’ll tell you which one you have.
They need a real compacted base, which is what the manufacturer specifies, but Ontario’s native soil and citrus-era lot grading mean we compact to a higher standard than a flat coastal lot would require. We regrade where the fall line runs toward the house, then build up from compacted aggregate. Get a free site check by calling (877) 752-4194.
